The latest information is that a patent for an 80mm f/1.2 lens has been patented.

To begin with, there were rumors that the 85 f/1.2 GM would be announced at CP+ in February. However, it was not announced as soon as CP+ was cancelled due to COVID19, and since then nothing has been announced forever. But now we have a patent. I expect there was some kind of glitch in the commercialization. It is my hobby to imagine such nonsense.
